Greece PTA Council’s
GOOD DEED NOMINATION FORM 

In an effort to recognize and celebrate children for the positive behavior they display,Greece PTA Council established the GOOD DEED Award program.

 The GOOD DEED program recognizes students whose independent (not as members of organizations or groups) good deed(s) demonstrate the Positive Values that can be found in the Internal Assets #26-30 of the 40 Developmental Assets. These are:

·        Caring – Young person places high value on helping people.

·        Equality and social justice – Young person places high value on equality and reducing hunger and poverty.

·        Integrity – Young person acts on convictions and stands up for his or her beliefs.

·        Honesty – Young person tells the truth even when it is not easy.

·        Responsibility – Young person accepts and takes personal responsibility.

 The GOOD DEED program further recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding caring and courage.

 How it works:
The PTA Council GOOD DEED Award Committee will review the nominations.
Designated award recipients and their schools will be notified.
Deadline for the Fall semester is December 15.  Deadline for the Spring semester is April 15.
